I bought this jumper solely because it had an E for Emma on it, but it so soft and warm inside i dont regret it one little bit! I dont have a lot to say about this outfit so instead of talking loads of shit im just gonna leave this post here hahaha.

LACE UP GRUNGE BOOTS

i have been lusting after these boots ever since stumbling upon them on Polyvore months and months and months ago! they are my absolute favorite item to use when making a set on it, i end up putting them with absolutely EVERYTHING! so i'm pretty sure that would happen to my everyday outfits if i was to end up buying them!

A slight change from the usual posts today, i wanna share something with you guys!

As you may or may not know i am the biggest clothing hoarder, potentially on the whole planet. My collection outgrew a wardrobe way way back, then one whole bedroom so i had to up-size and now sits on two rammed full 4 foot long, industrial strength (for the weight of things) rails, as well as 3 chests of drawers and several boxes under the bed. Really, the light bulbs should be coming on and telling you that you have way too many clothes long before mine did, I'm talking when you have to go out and buy new hangers every month because the stuff is expanding so fast there's nowhere for it to go!!!

I'm OBSESSED. A total shopaholic, I can't resist a sale or any kind of bargain either, thrift shops, the lot! Let alone when my friends decide to clear out and let me rummage through the donate pile and i and end up taking maybe 5, 6, 7 things home with me. One mans trash another mans treasure eh? I love clothes, I can't bare to see them thrown out! I guess I'm just so in love with the idea of keeping things for so long and rediscovering them and bringing them out again in 3 or 4 years and them still looking as fabulous as the day they were bought. Like the scene from the first Sex and The City movie where she tries on 20 years worth of clothes from her giant closet before moving out of her apartment. It's my favourite movie scene of all time. (see video at bottom of post!!!!) 

Also the idea of Reinventing something old and unwearable and making something completely new with the fabrics.

But sometimes you just can't keep everything, as I've learnt the hard way. After realizing that i hadn't gotten rid of a single item for a good two years, I made a pathetic attempt to clear out.

It may have only ended up being 5 things but any progress is good progress. They were things that were ripped and stained and stretched and good for nothing but i still struggled. The disco pants from one of my first ever blog posts are gone!! :( But now my whole wardrobe feels so clear and fresh and I've made a promise to myself that i will try to throw away at least two things per month for the rest of 2014. It might not seem a lot but i know i genuinely will struggle with it! Hopefully it will help me break my hoarding habbit!

1. I have 2 cats and they use my bedroom window as their own personal VIP entrance to the house.

2. I work at a Playgroup with children aged 2-4 and i really really love my job. 

3. I have seen every single episode of Sex and The City thousands of times and if Carrie Bradshaw was a real person im sure i would be a weird creepy stalker of her. 

4. I've seen One Direction live more than 10 times and i can't decide whether im embarrassed or proud.

5. I have done over 100,000 air miles in my life (according to my dad)

6. You have never ever seen a more smashed iPhone than mine (which i am upgrading TODAY)

7. If you touch the backs of my legs i will scream the house down

8. I am SUCH a bad loser, i cannot stand losing to the point where before i even know if ive won or lost i have to pre-warn people that i will cry if i lose and i cant help it. Its like an automatic reaction.

9. My lucky number is 9, and there so so so many reasons for it!

10. I absolutely love the colour yellow and all of the yellow foods/flavours like banana, lemon, pineapple etc!

11. I am so OCD about my wardrobe, to the point where its in coloured sections and then those coloured sections are split it to sections for different items of clothing. like 'red tops' 'red jumpers' 'red bottoms' 'blue tops' 'jeans' 'blue bottoms' etc etc etc.

1. How would you describe your personal style?

FUN. just so much fun! i go into shops and try things on just because they're 'so much fun'. im not even 100% sure how to describe what fun is, they're just sort of clothes that you put on and you just want to spin around and jump up and down like a child with a new toy! Also just recently i've been into really childish clothes and im not quite sure how i feel about that but still.. DUNGAREES.

2. Whats your favourite movie of all time?

Breakfast at Tiffany's has always been it, just because nothing really happens but everyone is SO glamorous, and just recently i've found that The Great Gatsby is another film that fits into that catagory for what i think a good film is, so that too!

3. What would your ideal day of relaxation be?

- Sex and The City Marathon

-Caramel Nibbles

- Pineapple Juice

4. Would you rather listen to music or watch TV?

Even though i am a musician myself and i've played for 10 years, i am not really a big music fan. I can't listen to it for long periods of time, so definitely TV. 

5. If you could live on one food item what would it be?

Fruit Pastelles.

6. Do you have any pets?

I have two cats, and 4 chickens. My boyfriend has a dog which i walk and feed every day so i think he counts as mine too!

7. Where were you born?

I was born in the old Norfolk and Norwich hospital which doesn't exist anymore. (Fun fact, my mum thought she was going into labour while on the back of a motorbike in Greece, which would of been such a cool story but hey)

8.  What is your one piece of clothing you always feel comfortable in?

a ginat XXL turquoise sweatshirt with neon pink and yellow writing on it from Universal Studios which my nanny bought in the 80's and gave me.

10. What film do you really want to see at the cinema this year?

At the minute i really wanna see The Wolf of Wall Street, and also im not even sure if its out this year or not but i really wanna see the fifty shades movie.

I'll always be a Sex on the Beach kinda gal. Although my boyfriend works at TGI Fridays and i spend a lot of time waiting for him there so i have sampled a little bit too much of their infamous cocktail menu!

dont wanna brag but..

Dont wanna brag but two weeks after i bought these shorts, Rihanna was see in them in London. 

I don't know if i love that or hate that. I see it as a good point as i remember she got so much positive press over this outfit, it was well over a year ago now and its still the first image up when you google 'Rihanna Topshop' so obviously i made a good choice buying them. But then theres the obvious visible downside that I do not look as good as that in them. But then noone looks as good as that in them. 

It just makes me happy that they were in the sale when i got them and they had been for a while. So we all know what that means.... Rihanna sale shops too! Positives.

I've been looking for a new handbag for a while now and more recently, leather totes, as they are big enough for me to be able to carry my sketchbooks around all the time in, which is probably the number one thing i'm looking for in an everyday bag. I absolutely love the colour of this one, i think its great for all the seasons.

i fucking love this skirt. i haven't worn it for at least 2 years but i still fucking love this skirt.

i bought it way way way back in 2009 when i was 13 on one of the first ever times my mum let me go shopping by myself. i think this was the day where i fell in love with bodycon skirts and one of my most important steps in developing and undying love for clothing. not that i even knew at the time what bodycon was at the time, all i knew was that it was fun, it was something new and it was something that made me feel so so grown up. just the texture of it now after all this time brings it all back and i remember all the times of wearing it so well. it weird. i'm pretty sure i had one of the worst nights of my little teenage life wearing it too, but that wont make me love it any less at all.

i am so annoyed with blogger!!!! i have written this post TWICE and i  have accidently deleted the lot TWICE. it probably more of my fault but they shouldn't make it so easy for that to happen!!!

ANYWAY. just recently i've discovered the best way to find out what looks best with a new item of clothing is to take outfit photos in it. i tried so many different things with this dress and the ways it came out best are alone, with a belt and without a belt but with a cardigan. i can't decide which looks best out of these three but i guess it doesn't matter. ways to wear init.

anyway, i am SO EXCITED about this outfit. there is nothing i have ever wanted more than skinny, full length dungarees, but as i struggle to buy normal jeans that fit me because of a really inconvenient ass size - hip size ratio, i'd kinda ruled them out as impossible. so when i stumbled upon these while trying to kill some time with shopping, it was only right that i tried them on, and they're PERFECT! i have never come across a stretchier denim in my life and at the exact right time too!!!

one thing that baffles me the most about my wardrobe/body shape is how slimming horizontal stripes are on me, yet they never seem to be on any other person. i don't know if that's just me being vain, or an opion not shared by people who read this but thats how i find it. can anyone like agree or disagree with me?

honest opinions, who here thinks this is a primark dress?!

i can't believe considering the high quality of fabric and the finish of the garment, this only cost 8 pounds! 

obviously it brings up some questions and highlights some serious issues of where it came from, who made it, what cut of it did they get etc..

for such gorgeous dress of which i love this much and really does fit me so perfectly, why has it left me feeling so guilty?

i have honestly never loved a pair of shoes so much. i can't quite explain to you the reasoning, but i love the way they almost blend in with tights. the way you have to double take to see if there's actually shoes there!!

more news and probably the more exciting news, i am starting my new job tomorrow! i'm so excited to be able to freely buy things without having to worry about when my next income is after being jobless for so long! it's paid work doing the same job i have been doing on and off for the past 2 or 3 years as a volunteer at my local playgroup. i'm really chuffed about it if im perfect honest!

January sale bargains are literally the biggest miracle. This skirt is so nice yet so casual and i know i'll end up wearing it so often the cost per wear is so low it might as well have been free!!! As everyone in the world must know by now i am THE most skint person there is so little bargains like this are just what i need! 

Also im back at college tomorrow FINALLY! not that i haven't enjoyed the time off but i love my course so much i cant wait to get into it!
